FAQ
How do you collect price information ? We painstakingly pull price information from each retailers website, in each country. This is not accomplished by a data scraping tool or AI, this is done manually.
Where do you get tax information from? We pull tax policies for each region from their national regulator. Note that we have to make estimates when regional differentiation exists. For the USA, 8.25% sales tax is added, which is at the high end nationally. For Canada, a 13% sales tax is added, while regions vary from 5-15%.
Why don't you have information on X product, or Y brand? This site is currently in beta, and we would love to consider adding more brands and items. Please let us know by emailing us at team@globalshopper.me which items and brands you would be interested in. Please note, some brands like Rolex do not have international pricing available publicly.
Can I get these prices in my home country? No--there are normally strict rules around policies like VAT back, including needing to not have residency in the country, and buying within a country's borders. Consult the country's regulatory website.
